The new subsidiary chargecloud Italia Srl, based in Milan, lays the foundation for a long-term presence in the Italian market. chargecloud will directly support local e-mobility companies and establish a partner network in the region. The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform has already been adapted to regulatory requirements and market-specific features, such as connection to the ‘Sistema di Interscambio’ (SdI). In Italy, electronic invoices must be transmitted via the SdI, a digital platform operated by the tax authorities. These invoices must comply with the prescribed XML format and the technical specifications of the Italian tax authorities. Thanks to its many years of experience in billing and compliance, chargecloud ensures that customers can use the 360° platform efficiently in Italy to establish and expand their business models – including legally compliant e-invoicing via the SdI.
